What is GuiltTrip?
GuiltTrip is an app that creates seamless cohabitation among a group of roommates. Providing accountability for your household duties.
The Challenge?
Most households have conflicting schedules and time management issues. This means delegation of household duties and accountability have become a pain point.

The Solution?
GuiltTrip provides delegation of chores along with reminders. Accountability is no longer an issue as household items are split evenly and fines are administered for tasks not completed.

Target audience:
- Working professionals living in larger cities with roommates
- College students living off campus with roommates

Business Analysis
The design process followed a B2B setup. This app being free relies heavily on company partnership through product distribution and targeted advertising

User Interviews
20-23 people were interviewed in person during the duration of this process. These interviewees were selected after the post-screening process. The user interviews helped clarify our user goals.

Surveying
During the survey process, we collected over a hundred responses from people of all backgrounds, industries, and household sizes.

DEFINE
The competitive analysis produced the following information:
- We didn’t have that many competitors
- Competitors used the app as a single user calendar reminder
- The apps were free but struggling to stay in production
Persona Creation
User personas formed to give a face to the user. Making our target demographic human. Enabling the team to be more empathetic to the user needs and frustrations.

Whiteboarding/ Brainstorming
As the facilitator through a series of group whiteboarding and brainstorming sessions, I was able to define the feature prioritization and MVP for the app. The results from the research were referenced through the process.
